Alanna McKeeman, AICP is a planner with experience across a variety of topic areas in the transportation industry. Her primary focus is planning that creates more convenient and efficient transportation options for all residents in a community. She has experience in regional and statewide planning, performance measurement, strategic and financial planning, program evaluation, and public and stakeholder engagement. Alanna has been the lead author on several national publications regarding performance-based planning and scenario planning, and has developed numerous other products to build capacity among practitioners to conduct effective planning. She has developed recommendations for the VDOT Northern Virginia District for the Virginia Multimodal Transportation Plan, served as a subject matter expert for a regional sustainability plan in New York State, and provided technical assistance in performance measurement and planning best practices to a handful of MPOs throughout the country. Alanna is a member of the National Capital Area Chapter of the American Planning Association and DC Chapter of Young Professionals in Transportation.
