Bloomington Transit identified a need and opportunity to set a new strategic framework and identify strategies and prioritize to meet the mobility needs of the region in coming years. We developed Bloomington Transit’s first ever strategic plan, which included a vision, mission, and goals to guide its decision making during a period of expansion and innovation.

Foursquare ITP brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to develop a concensus around a vision, mission, and goals for the agency. In the coming years, the agency is expected to expand its service, upgrade its facility and transition to battery electric buses, and implement new technologies and employee-supportive initiatives.

We helped Bloomington Transit in its first steps toward not only serving the mobility needs of the Bloomington community, but also becoming a national leader among small and mid-size transit agencies for innovation and best practices. The Bloomington Transit Board approved the strategic plan our team developed. It was written about in a local newspaper.
