Foursquare ITP served as the transit service planning expert on this Transit Development Plan (TDP) for the City of Mankato, Minnesota. Foursquare ITP was responsible for performing the region-wide transit market assessment, utilizing its proprietary transit propensity model in an effort to help identify un-served and underserved areas for both the fixed route and paratransit alternatives operated by the city. Our team developed new service recommendations and revisions to existing services that addressed vehicle capacity and service on-time performance issues, while also developing a financial plan to help the agency determine when to implement each of the recommended services.
