Foursquare ITP is helping the City of Doraville develop a work plan with low-cost, high-impact projects that can be quickly implemented by the cities, counties, and other entities that have partnered together on this application. The City of Doraville hired consultants to develop the Buford Highway Safety Action Plan due to significant safety issues along the corridor, which is plagued by a history of crashes and dangerous roadway designs. The project aims to transform this multi-lane suburban highway into a safer, more accessible space for all users, prioritizing low-cost, high-impact strategies that can be implemented by local stakeholders​.
