Vickram enjoys collaborating on solutions with a multi-dimensional perspective. He firmly believes that access to reliable and affordable transportation is the most significant contributor to a community’s success, and his mission is to deliver exactly that.

Vickram Peter (he/him) is a computer engineer with a profound passion for driving innovation in the realm of urban transportation. With a robust programming and computing background, he has a strong grasp of engineering and analyzing data of various formats and from varied sources to create powerful applications. Urban data science serves as the focal point of his work. He is invigorated by transit routing problems, spatial-demographic analyses, and optimization challenges. Notable experiences include exploring the socio-economic links to transit, mapping out New York City’s green spaces in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the spatial-temporal identification of sound sources in the NYC subway system.

Vickram’s technical prowess is further enriched by his profound dedication to community engagement and storytelling. Having grown up in the bustling financial hub of Mumbai and studying in the smart city of Singapore, Vickram gained first-hand experience of the strong positive impact of transportation on people’s lives. Consequently, he approaches transportation problems not only as technical puzzles but also from a holistic perspective – considering the problem’s human dimensions and complexities.
