Claude enjoys working with people to solve complex transportation challenges and create vibrant, sustainable communities. His collaborative approach fosters meaningful partnerships between agencies and stakeholders, enabling him to help communities enhance quality of life through improved multimodal transportation solutions that prioritize affordability, placemaking, and environmental sustainability.

Claude Morelli, AICP and PTP, is a senior transportation planner at Foursquare ITP. He has worked in the transit and transportation planning industry in both the public and private sectors. Claude has extensive experience with transportation planning and funding, including multimodal transportation and transit service planning, development of a statewide long-range transportation plan, development of regional transportation plans, oversight of MPO and RTPO compliance with federal rules, and administration of federal grant application processes. Prior to joining Foursquare ITP in 2023, Claude held a research faculty position at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Earlier in his career, he was a project manager / transportation planner at the New Mexico Department of Transportation, ran his own consulting practice in New Mexico, was a senior transportation planner for a consulting firm in Colorado, was the transportation planner for the City of Aspen in Colorado, and held a job in the freight transportation industry in California.
