Lori is committed to addressing transportation issues in a holistic fashion by considering land use and other areas of planning, with a goal of creating a more equitable, efficient, and sustainable transportation future.

Lori Zeller, AICP (they/them) is a project manager and senior transportation planner with experience in transit service planning, regional transportation planning, and stakeholder and public engagement. They are passionate about delivering transportation solutions that maximize mobility and distribute resources equitably. Currently, Lori is managing the fourth annual update of the Hampton Roads Transit Transit Strategic Plan, including a plan for service improvements and modifications and a phased implementation plan. They are also leading the development of service design recommendations for Prince George’s County for WMATA’s Better Bus Network Redesign project. They serve as the lead for Foursquare ITP’s Public and Stakeholder Engagement team and have led stakeholder and public outreach tasks for the Washington Area Bus Transformation Project and the Hampton Roads Transit Naval Station Norfolk Transit Corridor Project. Prior to joining Foursquare ITP, Lori managed a long-range metropolitan transportation plan update and coordinated regional transportation policy formation efforts.
