Jarred is passionate about building transit networks that become iconic of the cities they serve – not only through built infrastructure that encourages good urbanism and design, but through a system and network that is comprehensive, legible, and convenient.
Jarred Toups is a transportation planner with a passion for passenger rail and rail transit, urban and graphic design as they relate to transportation infrastructure, and using data to develop new approaches to analysis. He has experience in economic and demographic data analysis, graphic design related to network maps and compelling public deliverables, and analyzing and assessing transit data to develop service planning and transit priority recommendations. Jarred’s key projects at Foursquare ITP include the DDOT Bus Priority Program, the CATS Envision My Ride Bus Priority Study, the DC Circulator 2020 TDP and implementation, and the Connect NEC 2035 Strategic Plan.
