Washington Headquarter Services’ (WHS) Transportation Management Program Office (TMPO) provides efficient and effective transportation services to the Department of Defense (DoD) National Capital Region commuters, ensuring mobility, accessibility, safety, and connectivity. Foursquare ITP is providing transportation planning subject matter expertise to the TMPO over the course of a five-year contract, following support to WHS through other contracts since 2012. Through on-site staffing, Foursquare ITP currently provides transit facility management at the Pentagon and Mark Center, contract management of purchased transportation services, coordination of the DoD shuttle system, manages the Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs for both facilities, and implements the Transportation Management Plans (TMPs). Primary deliverables provided over the course of the contract include annual evaluations of the Pentagon and Mark Center TMP; an annual performance review of the DoD Shuttle routes; preparation and analysis of annual travel surveys for Mark Center and Pentagon employees; research on ridesharing systems; standardization of shuttle and transit agency data collection; quarterly ridership reports for the Pentagon and Mark Center Transit Centers; and development of a triennial Transit Development Plan for the DoD Shuttle System.
