Foursquare ITP led a synthesis study for the Transportation Research Board’s Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP). The synthesis outlines the state of practice in origin-destination passenger surveys with a focus on emerging technology and new data sources. The study included three major components: a review of existing literature on the topic, a survey of 67 transit providers from around the United States, and five case studies highlighting notable innovations in the field of origin-destination transit surveys.
