Foursquare ITP led the effort to develop recommendations for all transit agencies in the DC region that are practical, based in real data, and result in cost savings. Although there is significant collaboration between the regional providers and the other transit agencies, and to varying degrees between the local agencies themselves, this project resulted in recommendations that take advantage of improved coordination, collaboration, and partnering in the delivery of transit service to improve efficiency, reduce or share costs, and improve the customer experience region-wide.
