Nikki is deeply passionate about the connection between people and their environment, especially in integrating sustainable lifestyle choices into everyday living. She is eager to foster relationships and contribute to a more sustainable and accessible transportation system, recognizing that people are at the core of her work. Outside of her TDM work, Nikki enjoys running, has completed two marathons, and loves surfing and traveling.
Nikki Trasmonte (she/her) is a TDM coordinator at Foursquare ITP dedicated to advancing sustainability and equity in transportation. Her passion for environmental stewardship began with a master’s in Sustainability Management from American University. During her studies, she worked on a consulting project for a startup, applying her skills to develop innovative, sustainable transportation solutions. She then transitioned to the electronics recycling industry as a legislative compliance analyst, focusing on outreach programs and data analytics, deepening her commitment to sustainability. Nikki’s background also includes experience in marketing, nonprofit work, and research. She excels at building relationships and believes educating the public on sustainable transportation can drive positive change. Her mission is to create resilient transportation networks that serve people from all backgrounds, enhancing the commuting experience in the DMV area.
