Sandy Brennan is a project manager and senior transportation planner, with experience in transit operations, transit service planning, bus rapid transit, transit technology and tools. She began her transit career working for a suburban transit agency in Maryland before starting a career in consulting. Sandy leads Foursquare ITP’s Transit Operations service area and focuses on how to improve efficiencies and integrating planning, data and tools into their day-to-day operational duties. At Foursquare ITP she played a key leadership role in Foursquare ITP’s planning and implementation support for BaltimoreLink, the complete system redesign for the city’s transit. She continues to support the Maryland Transit Administration in short- and mid-range planning efforts, scheduling, and performance monitoring. In addition to practical operations experience, Sandy has also led service analysis and planning efforts for smaller transit systems. Prior to joining Foursquare ITP, Sandy worked for Central Maryland Regional Transit (CMRT).
Sandy sits on the board of her local community association, Citizens of Pigtown in Baltimore, MD.
