Prior to Foursquare ITP, Laura lived in Paris, France, where she quickly learned how much of an impact planning has on a resident’s wellbeing.

Laura Duke (she/her) is a transportation planner who is passionate about expanding access to public transit in communities across the country. She has worked on projects involving analyzing service data, mapping in GIS, writing guidebooks, and developing public outreach campaigns. She enjoys summarizing planning concepts and service recommendations in engaging and easily understood formats, whether through maps, graphics, or ArcGIS Online Story Maps. Her key projects at Foursquare ITP include the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Better Bus Network Redesign, the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) Transit Strategic Plan, and the Atlanta-Region Transit Link Authority Annual Report and Audit.
