Jessica is a transportation planner with experience in in a wide array of topic areas within the transportation industry. She is especially interested in the interplay between transportation and urban design, and specifically how innovative transportation solutions can be used to make urban and rural environments more sustainable, equitable, and accessible for all populations. She is also interested in the role that data can play in transportation planning. She is passionate about developing clear and accessible data and cartographic analyses and visualizations that make transportation planning and policy accessible to a wide audience.
Jessica got her start in transportation planning working on transportation planning and policy projects for state and federal clients, including New York State’s transportation demand management program and the Federal Highway Administration’s performance-based planning and programming guidebooks. She has since worked on long range planning projects, including complete bus network redesign, for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority.
