Maribel is an avid traveler. She loves learning about different cultures: their history, language, food, and people. She plans and designs every detail of her trips herself. Maribel truly believes that you learn the most about other countries and cities when you’re fully immersed in the culture. This includes using public transportation at your destination, so she makes it a point to get around by trains, buses, metro, bikes, and trams alongside local when she travels.
Maribel is an experienced accounting professional with a demonstrated history of working in retail, service/consulting, and multinational industries. She specializes in project-based accounting, partnering closely with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting, billing, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
With Maribel’s expertise in TM, FP, and CP contracts, she ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, including FAR requirements. Maribel is highly skilled in reviewing timesheets, expenses, and billing structures to support timely, accurate invoicing and strong financial performance. Her proactive approach and attention to detail help project teams stay on track, make informed decisions, and meet client expectations.
Before joining Foursquare ITP, Maribel worked as an accounting manager and project accountant at HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc., where she led day-to-day accounting operations, supported audits, prepared client invoices, and improved financial processes and reporting.
