  Years at Foursquare ITP: 1

Rebecca Slocum is an aspiring transportation planner who works out of Foursquare ITP’s Boston office. Prior to attending planning school, Rebecca worked as a building engineer. In this role she collaborated with architects and fellow engineers to design buildings for a wide-range of clientele. This involved working on interdisciplinary teams and managing conflicting project demands, experience which cultivated valuable communication, and people management skills that she brings to her work at Foursquare ITP. Through previous volunteer work, Rebecca also has experience performing public outreach – administering surveys and speaking with members of the public.

Rebecca is honored to be part of Foursquare ITP’s team. She takes pride in the fact that she is able to devote her time towards work she deems valuable and projects that benefit communities. Moving forward, Rebecca is interested in developing her technical capacity. She hopes to advance her coding and mapping abilities in an effort to more easily analyze and represent data.
