Nadiya believes walking and biking are the best way to become truly familiar with a community. She is passionate about expanding safe infrastructure, so all have the opportunity to do just that.

Nadiya is a communications specialist with a background in marketing and a passion for sustainable transportation. She works alongside transportation planners to transform technical data into informative and feedback-oriented communications campaigns directed at the public, agency staff, and stakeholders. Nadiya leads the development of cohesive outreach strategies across projects, executing ArcGIS Online applications, print collateral, paid social media campaigns, and in person/virtual events.

She is passionate about pairing informative visuals with opportunities to provide feedback to inform actionable recommendations. Nadiya’s key projects at Foursquare ITP include leading communications for service change design and implementation for the Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) Transit Strategic Plan and Prince George’s County TheBus Service Changes. She facilitates connection between agencies, MPOs, external contractors, and local stakeholders for the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) Commuter Choice TDM project and the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) MD 355 BRT Study corridor. Prior to joining Foursquare ITP, Nadiya was a communications project manager supporting major transportation clients in the DC metro area.
