  Years of Experience: 3

  Years at Foursquare ITP: 1

Matt (he/him) is a transportation planner with an interest in transit service and operations planning. Since joining Foursquare ITP, he has worked on projects in those and other practice areas, including transportation demand management and regional planning. In all aspects of his work, he strives to combine analytical rigor with accessibility. He is passionate about using all types of transportation data to inform the planning process.

Matt’s interest in transportation planning began during his time in AmeriCorps, where he was struck by the equity impacts of Connecticut’s transportation system. This led him to graduate school at Rutgers, where he gained a deeper background in transportation planning and engineering. He has a particular passion for understanding New Jersey’s bus systems, and he has worked on several related projects during and after grad school, including on an analysis of bus frequencies in northern New Jersey. At Foursquare ITP, he is excited to bring the same passion to every project he works on.
