Lessie loves being able to bring all her identities and experiences to the table to help others.

Before joining Foursquare ITP, Lessie worked in the sales, nonprofit, and customer service sectors, as well as on the frontlines of transit, having served for five years as a deckhand of Hampton Roads Virginia’s Elizabeth River Ferry. Lessie is directly tasked with ensuring residential buildings of all types are compliant with and expanding on their transportation demand management options under the District of Columbia’s unique and groundbreaking inclusionary zoning policies.

You’re most likely to find Lessie at a table in a DC apartment lobby or at a popular street festival enthusiastically empowering residents to take control of their commutes with the many options available to them in the DC region, with her knowledge of the many bus routes available to all corners of the DC region. She nudges people to take advantage of exciting new options such as scooters, bikeshare, and the many restored trail networks. Lessie’s years of direct sales and community work experience position her to be on the frontline of ensuring quality public engagement and efficient government services in transportation demand management.
