Andrew is a transportation planner with experience in community planning, parking analysis, fleet management and the development of sustainable transit options. With an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a specialization in urban and ethnic studies, he understands the socio-cultural considerations that need to be addressed in any planning decision. Andrew studied at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and received a Master of City and Regional Planning degree with coursework focusing on transportation planning and urban design. Andrew has worked on everything from a parks master plan for the county that he grew up in, to a customizable parking database that facilitates sustainable development, to a $36 billion dollar capital program for the MTA in New York City. Andrew has traveled to many countries throughout Europe and Asia, as well as over 40 states, and has observed a wide variety of community planning opportunities and useful transit interventions. Andrew is passionate about the development of safe, equitable, and accessible parks, public spaces and transit, as well as the revitalization of urban spaces through thoughtful context-sensitive design.
