Aileen M. Daney (she/her) is a Project Manager and Office Manager for Foursquare ITP in Atlanta, Georgia. Aileen is a planner with experience designing places where people who walk, bike, and access transit want to be. She is dedicated to a career advancing affordable, safe, resilient, and equitable mobility options for all. At Foursquare ITP, Aileen bridges the gap between technical, abstract concepts and real-world implications, bringing national expertise on multimodal best practices to the Southeast and beyond.

Aileen has led metropolitan transportation plans, regional transit plans, corridor studies, policy creation, and program development for transit authorities and metropolitan planning organizations in Atlanta. She served as the Planning Director at the Atlanta-Region Transit Link Authority, spearheading the long-range transit plan, short-range investment plan, the Annual Report and Audit, and the developments of regional impact programs. Prior to joining Foursquare ITP, Aileen advanced resilience and systemic safety planning at the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), creating the Regional Safety Task Force and contributing to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Project Prioritization Framework and Regional Workbook for Complete Streets. Aileen is a member of WTS-Atlanta, Propel ATL, American Planning Association, and former co-president of the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) Georgia Chapter.
