Foursquare ITP led the Fairfax County Department of Transportation (DOT) in the development of an entirely new Title VI Program that met the requirements of FTA Circular 4702.1B VI, Requirements and Guidelines for Federal Transit Administration Recipients (October 1, 2012). A complete Title VI Program was developed, including the major service change policy, disparate impact policy, disproportionate burden policy, transit service standards and policies, and creation of Fairfax County DOT’s Language Access Plan. Our team also developed a Title VI Training for both front-line service personnel and planning and operations staff, as well as conducted several required service equity analyses.
