Foursquare ITP conducted peer interviews with scheduling staff from various agencies. The interviews focused on providing an overview of the current state of practice regarding how transit agencies manage the transit scheduling workforce, examining how transit agencies are recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and retaining schedulers, and examining how transit agencies that purchase transit services from transportation providers handle fixed-route scheduling.
