Foursquare ITP has been tasked to calculate the operational impacts involved with the relocation of the Southeastern Regional Transit Authority bus terminal, including necessary route realignments and the resulting operating cost impacts. We have developed four costing alternatives and highlighted other potential issues with relocating the terminal. The costing alternatives that were analyzed all sought to mitigate the additional cycle time necessary for each route to serve the new terminal location. The alternatives included cutting layover times, creating new route interlines, and modifying route alignments. Other potential issues that were highlighted included implications for nearby stops and minor route deviations that would need to be modified.
