Foursquare ITP is pleased to welcome Boris Palchik, a highly experienced transit planning Project Manager, to our team! Boris brings nearly 20 years of transit planning experience and expertise to Foursquare ITP, having developed service plans for both large and small transit systems across the country with a focus on improving ridership, service, and system productivity. Boris takes a holistic approach to transit service development by addressing route and schedule issues, as well as issues related to overall passenger experience, including wayfinding, data availability, and bus stop environments. He also specializes in Google Transit implementation, schedule run-cutting, and site-specific transit planning for universities and airports. “I am excited to join a firm that shares my passion for improving mobility in communities across the country by developing intuitive, accessible, and reliable transit services,” says Boris.

Foursquare ITP’s transit service planning practice has grown significantly in recent years, and includes the development of several high profile transit plans, including Arlington County, Virginia and a complete system redesign for Baltimore’s bus service, BaltimoreLink. “We are thrilled to have Boris join our team,” said Foursquare ITP President & CEO Lora Byala. “He will help us to elevate our practice and share our innovative, data-driven, and stakeholder-informed transit solutions with more agencies and jurisdictions, paving the way for more efficient and effective transit.”

Boris previously worked as a Principal for Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates and as a Senior Planner at the Denton County Transportation Authority in Lewisville, TX and at Dallas Area Rapid Transit. He will be based in Foursquare ITP’s new Boston office.
